Bull Harding charged onto the country music scene in 2023, quickly making a name for themselves in the industry while gaining an international following.

Formed by brothers Nick and Chris Harding (aka Cole & Kit), Bull Harding made their live debut in the summer of 2023 followed by international support dates opening for Big Machine artist Jackson Dean on his sold out U.K. tour later that September. Resulting from the success of the Jackson Dean tour and a number of prominent headlining shows, the duo were invited to perform internationally, travelling coast to coast across the US, U.K., Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean and more - bringing their brand of country music to thousands of fans along the way.

Despite being a new name on the scene, Bull Harding came with a back story.

Born and raised on horse farms and country music in the greenbelt of Southern Ontario, the Harding brothers spent most of their professional lives in the US and Canada before career opportunities brought them to the U.K.

Following the 2015 release of an EP of original rock and roll songs recorded in Los Angeles with producer Drew Sherrod - and which featured performances from Bobby Keys (Rolling Stones, Joe Cocker) and Mike Webb (Hank Williams Jr., Big & Rich) - Nick and Chris, then known as the Second Sons, relocated to London, U.K. having received critical acclaim and encouraging responses from the U.K market.

Shortly after arriving in London, the brothers quickly caught the attention of multi-platinum producer Chris Kimsey (Rolling Stones, Duran Duran) with whom they release a new EP of original music in 2016.  The lead single from that EP ‘Can’t You See?’ as well as the single from their previous EP ‘Best of Me’ ft. Bobby Keys were aired in BBC Radio and featured on BBC Introducing London with Gary Crowley.

Rich Cohen, contributing editor at Rolling Stone, was quoted as saying “The Second Sons are the best thing to happen to rock n roll since Booker T fell in with the MG’s. I absolutely love their new songs. While being just about as old as Elvis, it's also entirely and excitingly brand new. It drives like a freight train and punches like a very young Mike Tyson. In a bleak and strange time -- I write from the middle of America -- this band gives me hope for the republic of rock n roll."

Following the release of their 2016 EP, the brothers focused on touring and performing live, securing back to back bookings at the 2016 and 2017 Isle of Wight festival, the 2016 Gibraltar Music festival, and a residency at famed London music venue The Troubadour.

The brothers were featured on undiscovermusic.com in a profile article by Richard Havers titled “One to Watch For In 2017 - the Second Sons” and were nominated as ‘Best Rock Act’ in the 2018 UMAs.

Following their 2018 nomination, Nick and Chris were quick to secure two consecutive national U.K tours opening first for Greta Van Fleet (Lava Records) and then the Struts (Big Machine) on each of their respective sold out 2018 tours.

The brothers spent 2019 working on new original music and planned to record and release their first full length major label record in early 2020 when the Covid-19 global pandemic broke out and the world came to a standstill.

The brothers both spent the lockdown in the U.K. and used the time to begin working on new music. It was at this time that Nick returned to his roots, writing hundreds of new songs between 2020-2022, all of them country.  Having arranged studio time in late 2022, the brothers met up for the first time since 2019 to go over new material. It was at this time that Chris shared new songs he’d been working on during lockdown and, unknown to Nick, he too had gone back to his country roots. Inspired by their natural and uncoordinated mutual return to country music, Nick and Chris wrote their first single “Where the Neon’s Buzzin’” (unreleased) which features steel guitar by acclaimed pedal steel guitarist Mike Johnson (George Strait, Reba McEntire, Jon Pardi).
